Wild Warrior Women - 29.11.26
Wild Warrior Women: Menopause, Nature & Kindness with Ange Cameron
Sunday 29th November | 10-11:30am | £40 per person
What if menopause came with a ritual, not a reckoning or it to be such a struggle?
Ange Cameron (Sauna Culture UK) brings the Lithuanian sauna tradition to Dundee this November: birch and oak whisked against warm skin, steam rising, the body reminded it deserves attention. Blended with her own Scottish herbs and botanicals, it's a ritual rooted in two lands and one simple idea. You are allowed to be cared for.
This session moves away from battling through menopause and towards meeting it with curiosity, care and kindness. Guided meditation, poetry, sauna ritual and the whisking tradition all sit alongside Ange's homegrown Scottish Botanicals Body Polish, adding a rich, sensory layer to the afternoon.
You'll leave with more than a lovely afternoon. You'll leave with small, simple practices for self-kindness that live in your everyday, long after the sauna cools.
Nurturing, playful and full of heart. A space to feel cared for, connected and supported.
Ange Cameron - Sauna Culture UK - Facilitator Bio
Retreat Leader | Accredited Psychotherapist | Mindful
Compassion Teacher | Sauna Ritual Facilitator
I have over 34 years of experience supporting people’s wellbeing as an accredited psychotherapist, facilitator, trainer and retreat leader. For almost two decades, I have designed and led transformational workshops, one-day retreats and residential retreats, creating safe, welcoming spaces where people can slow down, reconnect with themselves and build lasting inner resilience.
My work combines evidence-based psychology with mindfulness, self-compassion and nature-based practices including the ocean and sauna. I believe real wellbeing isn’t about striving to be better, but about learning to relate to ourselves with greater kindness, courage and awareness.
Alongside my psychotherapy work, I have been designing and facilitating sauna rituals for almost three years, drawing inspiration from Nordic and Baltic traditions while weaving in mindfulness, compassion and seasonal themes.
For over 15 years, I’ve taken clients into the sea for healing, grief, helping them through depression, trauma and much more. I’ve meditated for over 37 years and have advanced teacher training in both mindfulness and compassion.
Relevant Qualifications & Training
Accredited Psychotherapist
Qualified Mindful Compassion Teacher (Mindfulness & Compassion)
Advanced training in facilitating groups, retreats and experiential learning
Certified Sauna Master (Aufguss)
Advanced Lithuanian sauna training in holistic sauna practice, including the therapeutic use of plants, botanicals and immersive sauna experiences
My approach is warm, inclusive and trauma-informed, creating experiences that are accessible whether someone is completely new to sauna rituals or has attended many before and most importantly, creating safe places.
