Winter Solstice: Fire, Writing & Sauna

£25.00
21st December | 3-5pm

Mark the Winter Solstice with a grounding evening of fire, writing and sauna time.
This session is all about taking a pause, getting clear for the year ahead, and letting go of what’s been weighing you down.

Here’s what you’ll do:

• Gather around the fire
You’ll join the group at the fire pits as the sun sets on the shortest day of the year, and settle in with a warm drink.

• Be guided through simple creative-writing prompts
Rachel-Jane, a Fife based director and theatre maker, will lead you through short, gentle exercises to help you reflect, notice what you want to carry forward, and identify what you’re ready to release.

• Use your voice as part of the group
Together you’ll take part in easy choral speaking and shared moments of reading aloud (optional—no pressure). It’s about feeling supported, not performing.

• Write quietly on your own
There will be peaceful solo moments to write, think and take a breath.

• Release what you don’t need into the fire
You’ll be invited to write down what you want to let go of and place it into the embers as a small symbolic ritual.

• Enjoy exclusive sauna time
Across the two hours you’ll also have access to the sauna, taking turns or dipping in and out as you like. You’ll experience a wild circle and have time to warm, reflect and reset.

• Share chai and mince pies
We’ll finish with homemade chai masala and fresh mince pies to bring everyone back together.

A simple, supportive winter ritual; part creative workshop, part fire ceremony, part sauna reset. Perfect for anyone looking for a gentle moment of release and renewal.
